W. Riddle v Thos. Simmorids,—Debt Ul 15a Bd. This was an immediate summons whioh was granted owing to defendant being about to leave the colony. ■ Mr Beard appeared for the defendant and Mr Skipper for plaintiff. After the case had been partly heard the parties came to an understanding and the case was withdrawn by consent.

An application for a re-hearing of the case D, F. McCarthy v Elliotte was made by Mr Bunny on behalf of the defendant. Mr Beavd opposed the application, After a long argument the application was granted, and the case heard at once,'when the former decision was reversed, judgment being entered for defen-' dant.
