Telegrams are to hand from the Transvaal announcing that the Native tribes it) thn south-west are mi«r in open rebelliun against;the Boers, and that a severe eiuasjeiheiit has been fought, in which the latter were defeated with considerable loss. The whole of the south-west district is now the scene of frequent encounters between the Natives and the 3oers.
