Prices at the outset showed an average advance of ten to twenty per cent, on the upset price, Later on tho average increase on the upset.price of allotments was nearly 50 per cent., and in Borne caßes 100. Duncan, of Wellington, bought the first lot, and is one of the largest purchasers, The 3ank of Few Zealand purchased several town lots, suburban, and rural lands. The township lots brought an increase over upset price of one to two hundred per cent. This day. The result of the sale is as follows; Town Beotions—Upset price, £1341; annual rental realised £1950105, Surburban—Upset price, HU, realised £391. ■ Rural Upset price, £126, realised £398. Totals-ilGU'and £2739 10s.
