Donald in charge, assisted by Sergeant-Major Bezar, One squad took the field at 6 a.m., the other at 3 p.m. Anketell made the splendid score of 52 out of 60 points; he made 19 out of 20 at 600 yards. Masterton average on this occasion is 36.33, against 29.30 in the first competition. The same progreiß in the third and final co.npetition ivill show well, The system of marking introduced by the Sergeant-Major is already doing its work, the signal being so that the exact spot hit I can be shewn within a few inches.
