RIFLE MATCH.
The rifle match, Wellington v Maaterton, was fired at the Masterton range yesterday afternoon, at 200, 400, and 600 yards. The Wellington team was under the command of Captain Crowe, and the Masterton men were offioered by Lieut, Wyllie, •The referees for Wellington were SergtMajor Davies and Vol. Madley, andfor, %Btorti)n'Lieut Wyllie and Sergeants J.' Williama and D. Dixon. After a very pleasant and friendly competition the Wellington corps won by 23 points. An adjournment was made to the Empire Hotel, where the visiting team was entertained with a lunch, The following are the scores MASTERTON,
