THE PANTOMIME

The Hall was fairly patronised laatevening by an appreciative audience. The Pantomime evidently became better with each presentation of it. The applause last night was frequent and hearty, the juvenile portion of the audience being intensely delighted, Each performer roceived a share of favor. Miss Kate Jones, as the Fairy Queen, and Miss Jessie Jones, as Salsaline, were in splendid form, and their acting was spirited and clever, while little Minnie Jones, by her quaint remarks, created considerable laughter. During the Clown and Pantaloon's antics, a first class specimen of a christy minstrel was introduced, who announced himself as "J, E, T." The first white man who crossed the ItimuMa, the joke being received with much laughter. The funny doings of the Olotvn (C. J. Marter), and his chum (F. Robinson) were again highly amusing, their exhibition of Chang the giant, and the •' rnmpus," caused by the swindle, brought down the house. The grand transformation scene was as successful as before, and closed a very good evening's amusement. We understand the Pantomime will be again presented on New Years' night with fresh characters, jokes, and Bcenes, and tl ose who would gi > f e juveniles a treat should lako advantage of that opportunity-
