A MISTAKE.
Even a newspaperman finds it hard sometimes to believe everything he sees in print. At any rate that's the way it affected us the other. day, when a nine-year old appealed to our generosity by laying before us a curd setting forth in large type that he was "a poor widow and the mother of five children." There is no fancy in this j it is pure undiluted truth.
