Mr Carter has forwarded to ub for publication that we were requested to publish it immediately on receipt, When Mr Renall's friend invented this statement he was possibly not aware tbat Mr Carter was unable to forward the whole of his MSS, in his first communication, and tbat supplementary sheets ( were to_ follow. Possibly Mr Renall's friend will invent another story to fit in with this little fact which evidently has not as yet come to the knowledge of Mr RonaU's friend.
