THE PASTORAL SHOW.

To the Editor of the WAiRAnArA Daily.

Sir,—l read your report on the falling off in the number of entries for next show, but what of that if the stock entered is superior to the yardful of rubbish entered last year, which was the case with few exceptions. _ It is not too late yet to get a lot of exhibits from Wellington if the Committee would only send one of their number down, and I will visit the different little factories with him, and so fill a whole train with different exhibits not known to many of the Wairarapa people. I am sending a hogshead of Invercargill ale, and no doubt this intimation will make your brewers do likewise, It only requires I lie people to uuite to make it a success, winch I feel confident it will be. Yours, itc, W. McKeeveh.
