TE WHITI INFLAMMATORY,
PONGAREHU, Oct. 18,
To Wbiti made an incoherent but very inflammatory speech yesterday, and was followed in a similar strain by Toliu, They said guns should not coerce the poople, and that though thousands of Europeans, armed with guns and swords, should assemble, their arms would be ineffectual because of non-resistance. Still, tin Natives were told to strike, even with spade or shovel.
