Tim third competition for the Cup presented to the Masterton Rifle Volunteers by Captain Buck took place at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. The weather was all that could W .consequently the shooting was bettei 1 than on the last occasion, As will be seen by the subjoined spore, it was won by Private Kummer with a score of 47, the previous winners king Privates E. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon the match against Carterton was fired, which resulted in a victory for the Masterton 'team by 47 points. Private Anketell, of the Masterton Rifles, headed the list with a fine score of 53 out of a possible 60.
