LOCAL RIFLE SHOOTING.

Tim third competition for the Cup presented to the Masterton Rifle Volunteers by Captain Buck took place at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon the match against Carterton was fired, which resulted in a victory for the Masterton 'team by 47 points. Private Anketell, of the Masterton Rifles, headed the list with a fine score of 53 out of a possible 60.
