CIVIL WAR IN IRELAND IMMINENT. RESPECT TO GARFIELD'S MEMORY. London, Sept. 24. A startling revival of Land League outrage? is reported in Ireland, and the strongest possible measures are enforced to put down the disorder.
Much anxiety is felt throughout Great Britain, for a civil war seems immineut. It is proposed to erect a bust of the late President Garfield in the Guildhall, London, as a mark of national esteem.
