Sib,—l find, by an advertisement in your paper, that the Trustees of . the Masterton Rabbit District are in want of an Inspector. Before the appointment is made I should like to suggest, through your paper, that it would bo a good thing to engage a person with the understanding, he should conduct his own cases in court, as there is not likely to.be more difficulty in rabbit oases, than the sheep Inspector's have in conducting their scab cases, Judging from the rabbit cases whieh have already been before, the court, the expenses have been very high, and anyone cursed with rabbits on. their land, and who devote time and incur expenses' in. endeavoring to get rid of them are sufficiently taxed without going through the ordeal of facing the R.M. and having to pay an extra guinea for lawyer's fee—if unfortunate enough to incur the displeasure of the inspector, .
