Tenders of £lO2 6d will receive allotment in full; those of £lO2 will receive 16 per cent of amounts offered. June 22. WASHINGTON, June 22, Tilden has resigned the leadership of the Democratic party in America. This step has been taken, it is believed, as a preliminary to withdrawing his candidature for the Presidential election.
