BLENHEIM. Friday. The Marlborough Express has beon sold to Messrs Furness and Boundy. Mr Furness has been overseer for some time on the Express, and Mr Boundy was for eleven years in the Colonise Office, Nelson. The transfer takes place on the 31st December. Robert Gardner, a sawyer, living near Picton, went home intoxicated. Next morning the hut was found burnt, and the man inside of it. An inquest was held, and a verdict returned that deceased met his death accidentally.
