rrntm»n—«■ . j He understood that the samples of wool ■•. exhibited at the late Horticultural Shovr had been offered by Messrs Bee%m Broa., through Mr Braithwaite, for the v purpose, and would move the offer of Messrs Bcetham Bros, be accepted, and a suitable case provided. Mr Bock stated he believed a suitable case could be obtained for about 20a, and had much pleasure in seconding the resolution, which was put to the meeting and carried , Mr Haines called attention tolgeveral papers still being received that countermanded some time since, and it was resolved that notice should be given to the agents that if they continued sending them, accounts for same would not be recognized.
Mr Haines suggested that the catalogue of books received from Edinburgh be carefully gone through by members of the committee, and suggestions made thereon for next meeting, as prices quoted were very reasonable, and the selection appeared to be good, and the books could be obtained already half bound at 2s to 2s 6d less than those obtained through Melbourne and Wellington houses. The suggestion was approved, and the meeting then adjourned.
