MASTERTON PARK TRUSTEES.
A meeting of the above Trustees was held in the Institute, on 26th August, 1879. Present: Messrs Eenall (hi the chair), Feist, McOardle, Vile, and Hare. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
A letter was received from Dr Hosking tendering his resignation as a member of the Trustees,
It was resolved that the names of Messrs Duncan McGregor and S. E. Gapper be recommended to His Excellency the Governor, as fit persons to fill the vacancies cansed in the Trustees by the resignations of Dr Hosking and. Mr R. G, Williams, accordance with the Public Park and Cemetery Act of 1879.
The custodian having reported the constant trespass of visitors contrary with the written instructions or the notice boards at each gate. It was resloved that proceedings bo taken in future against any porsons wilfully trespassing. It was resolved that the custodian should keep a diary of tho work executed by him daily, and will shew the same to any member of the Committee when required. It was resolved that notice be given to the writers of'the sign boards of tho illegible state of the writing thereon.
