MASTERTON HOSPITAL.
The ordinary monthly meeting of tiie Masterton Hospital Committee was held yesterday. Present—Messrs D. McGregor (Chairman), Girdlcstone, Bennett, Vile, and Payton, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, The Treasurer reported the balance to the credit of the Hospital tpbe : £2l3s I'd. . CorrespondenceFrom the Greytown Hospital respecting a claim for Hospital fees in the case of Mrs Robinson, a Masterton resident who was received on an assurance given by Mr Caselberg that the Masterton Hospital would contribute towards the expense of the patient. It was resolved that the Committee could not admit its liability, but. in consideration of the assistance rendered by the Greytown Hospital to a Masterton resident, were willing to give a subscription of five guineas to the hospital, provided
that such an arrangement would be considered a satißctory settlement of all claims. ,• : Reports. : Mr J.. V. It was resolved that the Secretary bejF instructed to convene the . half-yearly?' meeting of the General. Committee for Tuesday July' 22, at 2 p.m. in the Institute, and the annual meeting at 3 p.m. on the same day. Mr Vile was appointed visiting member for the ensuing month. :'>'. y It was resolred that Messrs R. Wllaone (1 and J. Brown be requested to audit the accounts for the past year.
