Sir,—ln neference to the last clause of "Elector's" letter in to-day's issue of your valuable paper, I would state that the late elections for Wardens in the Taratahi-Carterton Highway Board were conducted on the principle of open voting, the regulations of'• The Local Elections Act, 1876," not having been adopted by that Board.—l am, &c., Carterton,
