FEATHERSTON LOCAL BOARD.
, Tho usual monthly meeting of the Featherston Local Board was held at the Odd Fellows Hall on Monday 3rd inst. Present Cox, Chairman, Cundy, Keys, Reynolds, and Shirley, The meeting of the previous 'minutes were road and confirmed.
. The treasurers statement showed a balance of £3515s lOd. '
Accounts passed-Mr Freeth £35. Chairman and Treasurer's Stationary Stamps &c, £3 Os fld.. This account has been running since the Board was formed was formed,
Mr Toogood's application to have foot path and road formation, extended in front of Club Hotel was not entertained. Works to be undertaken and tenders to be called for at once as follows. Fox-5t.,26 chains formation, Bell-st., culvert and 25 chains formation Renall-st., 9 chains formation Daniel-st., culvert and 13 chains metalling, Moore-st,, metall to:the amount of JES. ■
Discussion on Mr Reynolds notice of milking the Town Belt a common, was adjourned to next meeting.
