Somaliland.

London, December 7.

The Morning Post states that the Mullah has terrorised the coast. Having obtained food, he has quitted Obbia, expecting the arrival of the British from the south east. A trader of twenty years’ experience declares that is impossible for the British to corner the Mullah without the co-operation of Italy. Heavy rains have fallen at Berbers. The Haud desert is covered with vegetation. Although the Mullah’s forces are increasing largely, it is believed that only half are dependable. His body-guard consists of 1000 outlaws and murderers.
