Warner captains Lord Hawke’s team. He hopes to secure the services of McGahey, who has gone to Australia. Lord Hawke broke his collarbone while hunting, but hopes to sail for New Zealand in three weeks. November 14. The Cricket Club authorities now state that the cable message in reference to Lord Hawke’s team only applied to Australia. Presumably the visit to New Zealand will take place.
