A meeting of the Volunteer Cricket Club wag held on Tuesday evening, there being a good attendance. The captain, vice-captain, ami secretary were appointed a selection committee, and were instructed to buy material. Messrs Stevenson, Smith, Shackleton,aud Mines were added I to me list of vice-president. j and Messrs L. Thomas and W. Clear to the general committee. | The annual sub.scripfi 'n wts j fixed at 2s lid, the opening day arrangements being left with ihcommittee. *
