STUDHObME JUNCTION.
All farm work is progressing favourably and teams are very busy. The seed is going in in good order and the growing crops are making rapid progress, i understand there are two new milk suppliers to the local creamery, and everything points, to a large m Ik supply the coming season. I notice the Saleyards Company are making additions to the cattle pens, and I hear that the special sale of cattle which takes place on Friday promises to tax the carrying accommodation of the yards to their utmost. I hear two more of the H&nnatou settlers have sold their holdings at very satisfactory prices, Mr Ryder and Mr Gibbs having sold out to Mr Hammond, of Woodbury, who, I underftand, intends going iu for the dairy industry. If wo have many more of the settlers selling oui, there will be very few n{ the original settlers left amongst ’’ t. 1 understand Mr Reilly has receive
