TIMARU GRAIN MARKETS. Quietness still reign* in the grain markets, and very little business is passing. Holders of prime line* ot Tuscan, rsd chaff, and velvet wheat* still decline to take less than 4s, and, on the other hand, millets will not giro more than 3e lid on trucks, Timaru. Samples from North Canterbury have been on offer at this figure, but so far have met with little demand. There is a lot of ■! second quality on offer, and it finde a ready sale for fowl feeding purposes at from 2a 8d to 3s for best whole and 2s 3d to 2a fid for other qualities.
