The receipts brought to the i credit of the ordinary revenue aecouut total £1,622,018, which including the bilance at the beginning of the quarter, £853,623,13 £134,799 leas than for the Juneqmner last year. The receipt* from the Customs were £470,300, atamp3 £145,740, and railways £-146.394. During the quuter tin annual J appropriations absorbed £939,9/17; of this £823,290 was for intere.fc and sinking fund, and £32,615 for old age pensions. Thrf annual appropriations amounted to £682,091, the principal item- 'icing £25,193 for railways, £129,113 for education, and £50,000 lor d fence.
