CAMPING ON THE ROAD.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As all traction engine proprietors have received notice to keep huts, camps and other obstructions off the roads, I would beg to draw the County Council’s attention to a groat nuisance that has been cairied on for years, where two parties stack their firewood on the road. The road I refer to leads off the main Timaru Road towards the settlement lately acquired by the Government. I am, etc., A Traction Engine Proprietor.
