o Subject to any necessary alteration, mails will close as under:— Saturday, July sth. For the Australian States (via Bluff), United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (specially addressed via Suez), India, China, South Africa, etc., per Warrimoo, at 2.30 p.m. Due in London on Auc<ust 18th. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, at 3 p.m. The next S in Francisco mail will close at Waimate on the 14th inst. Due in London on 15th August. ALTERATION IN THE CLOSING OF MAILS. Under the accelerated express running to come into operation on Ist July, the mails for the north and south expresses will close at 2.30 p.m daily. Mails for Waihao Downs will close at 4.40 p.m. daily, and mails will close at the Downs at 12.30 p.m. and arrive afc Waimate at 2.15 p.m. daily. G. B. Cooper, Acting Postmaster.
