Waimate Workers' Union.

A meeting of the abov.-; Union was held on Thursday last, Mr Smith presiding. It was resolved that t'n" secretary should proceed to the Northern end of the Industrial District oa Monday next. Notice of motion was tabled that at next regular meeting the name of the Union be altered to the Canterbury Industrial Union of Workers. Notice of motion was also tabled that six weeks from the notice being tabled' the annual subscription of members be increased. After other business of more or less importance had been transacted a vote of thanks to the chair closed the meeting.
