An engine drawing twelve trucks o! ballast and another truck containing pubhp works officials, workmen, anq others crossed from the Qhingaiti qic(Q, The structure was severely tested with a lord of 150 tons, this heavy load crossing halt a dozen times. Notwithstanding the great height of 242 feet, the motion of the train was perfect. The viaduct is 700 feet across. Those in charge of the train were thoroughly satisfied with the test.
