COURT FORESTERS i'RIFE,

No. 0073

The quarterly meetiig was held on Monday night, Bro. A. Colville, Chief Ringer, presiding

over a small attendance of members. The minutes were read and confirmed. Three members were reported still on the funds. If was reported that the balancesheet for 1901 had been audited, and showed that the amount of funds had increased by £l2O for the year. The auditors’ report would be sent in for next meeting. The election of officers resulted as follows:—C.R., Bro E. J. Adams ; P.C.R., Bro E. Pinnell;

Treasurer, Bro A. Berry ; Secretary, Bro P. Grunt; S.W., Bro J. Hiorns ; J.W., Bro Miller ; S. 8., Bro. G. Calvert J. 8., Bro. F. Russell. Auditors—Bros. Bitchener, Coltman and Inkster. Medical oflicers Drs. Barclay and Nicol Jg. Bro. Adams was installed as C.R. by Bro. Colville, and the Subordinate Officers by Bro. Adams.

It was resolved that a P.C.R. sash should be presented to the retiring C.R., which was done by Bro. Adams, who .referred to the excellent way in which Bro. Colville had carried out his duties while in office.

Bro. Colville spoke in appreciation of the services rendered to the Court by Pro. E. J. Atwill as treasurer, regretting that the Court had not been able to meet him before leaving for his trip Home, and moved a resolution to that effect.

It was decided to ask members of the senior and juvenile courts to meet next Monday to consider the position of the juvenile court, etc.

Receipts for the evening, £G2 2s 9d, accounts passed for payment £l4 lls 10s.

The court was closed by the C.R. in due form.
