Waimate Hockey Club.

’The animal meeting of the ’Waimate Hockey Club was'bold last evening, the president, The Rev. McKenzie Gibson, presiding over an excellent attenda'uce. The "balance-sheet,, showed a credit balance of 14s t’d. Kiiie new members were elected to the club. The election of officers resulted as follows : —President, Rev. McKenzie Gibson ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. IU Douglas and W. IK Hargreavea (subject to consent) ; Secretary, G. Wilson ; Treasurer, L. Reeves; Gaptain, A. Berry (re-elected) ; Committee, Messrs E, Porter, H. Dash, J. iSims and A. Butcher. A. Berry, L. Reeve, and M. Healey were elected a selection committee for the year.
