For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (via Suez), India, China, South Africa, and Australian States (via Bluff), at 3 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, daily (except Sundays), at 3 p.m. Mails for South Africa close at r Melbourne on December 27th. CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. Wednesday, the 25th instant, being Christmas Day, the local Post, Office will observe a close holiday. Hails usually despatched on that day will close at 5 p.m. on the 24th in,t. There will bd a counter delivery of correspunden-e between 7 and 8 o'olock on Tuesday evening. Thursday, the 26th instant (Boxing Day), the oifio. s will open for one hour between 9 and 10 a ra.
