Anniversary Day.
The holiday was not attended by favourable weather and consequently most of the outdoor fanctieEg suffered somewhit. St. Paul’s Wesleyan Sunday school picnic was held in the Temperance Hall, the children’s races to be run on Thursday next in Victoria Park. Knox Church picnic, held in Knottingly Park, is also unfinished in this respect.
The various shooting matches are reported in another column.
At Morven the Sports meeting was greatly interfered with by the frequent showers, although the greeter part of the events were got off. A full report will appear in our next issue.
