The railage of the bird* to Danedin and of the empty crates back cost 7a 3d, leaving m* 26a for 30 prime ducklings. 1 was offered 2s a head for these ducka on the Waimate railway station, .so you cannot wonder that [.have not much faith in South African markets tor poultry.
