There was atfaiir attendance of members and their frienda and several good sets Were played’ The middle court has just been typ dressed, and the grounds are in thorough good order. Afternoon tea, was provided by Mesdames Pitoaithly, Akhurst- and Wingfield. The annual meeting, which was to have been held, was unavoidably postponed. As there is a likelihood of a.match South Canterbury v. Notih-Otago being played shortly, it is to be hoped that all inembers will get- as much practice as possible,
