The Maiden Melodists.
The Maiden Melodists vrhe appear in the Oddfellows’ Hall an Friday evening are said to be an excellent little company. Concerning their visit to Dunedin the Otago Daily Times says:—“The Maiden Melodists concluded three special services at the Salvation Arssy Barracks, good congregations being in attendance upon each occasion. This Company, one of three at present touring the colony in the interests of the Self Den'al Fund, is composed of six young ladies, whoso ages range from thirteen to nineteen years, under the leadership of Adjutant Garner. The girls hail from various parts- Prominent amongst the items given during the afternoon were several action songs of a devotional character, which were loudly applauded. A very pleasant Sunday afternoon was provided by this talented little company, whose training reflects great credit on their leader."
