The Yacht Ariadne.
Sydney, October 9. Two men have been arrested and remanded for a week on a charge of conspiracy with others in casting away the yacht Ariadne, which was wrecked on the New Zealand coast soma mouths ago. Thomas Kerry and Eric Frieke were charged with casting away the Ariadne. Bail was refused. Kerry and Freke, who have been arrested in Sydney in connection with the loss of the yacht Ariadne, were owner and midshipman respectively. It will be remembered that while in Oamani Midshipman Frieke was said to have received a cable from London announcing that he had been left a legacy of £73,000 by an aunt. Wellington, October 10. It has transpired that the arrests made in Sydney in connection with the Ariadna case are consequent on the issue of a warrant in Wellington. Kerry and Frieke will be brought over t° New Zealand and tried in Obriat* church.
