Cricket.
The annual meeting of the Waimate Cricket Club was held last evening, Mr E. C. Studholme presiding. The annual balance sheet showed a small debit balance. The balance sheet was adopted. The following officers were elected :—Patron, the Hon W. J. Steward; president, Mr T.Teschemaker ; vice-presidents, Dr BarMesais Wright, Binney, Garland and Douglas ; club captain, Mr B. C. Studholme; t:cocaptain and practice-captain, Mr C. J. Goldstone ; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Hutchinson; committee, Messrs Hamilton, Griffin , Eyansi, Francis and Fergrisson; selection committee, Messrs Studholme, Goldstone and Hutchinson.
