A CORRECTION.
TO XHB EDITOR. Bik,— Referring to your paragraph in tbismorning’scdition of your paper I wish to contradict the statement that tho mortality amongat lambing owes is due to some strange unknown cause. If you had been present when I made the pott mortem on Messrs Paterson’s sheep, I would have explained fully tho cause of the trouble. I may add that practical farmers are fully aware from experience that it is due to the ingosaon of any fibrous material. The ewes wae perfectly healthy,—l am, otc , J. Gor.OOV LtLICj, M.a.C.V.S.
