Technical Classes.

The concert in aid of the above held in St. Augustine's schoolroom caused over eighty people to ignore the miserable night which prevailed last evening, and patronise it. The first part consisted of musical items by leading Waimate amateurs, and the second part of the farcical comedy " Cool as a Cucumber," staged by the Waimate Dnfmatic Club. The evening'sentertain ment was much enjoj'ed, and will result in a good addition to the funds. A *rordof praise is due to Mr A. S. Jones, who decorated the stage very nicely.
