o A meeting of the Technical Committee waa held in the schoolroom on Thursday night. It was resolved to form a Tachnical Association, as Squired by the Act. The fae for membership -was fixed at 2a 6d. association will appoint a comaait'tee of 'manager*, who in turn Will aeldc'i the subjects to be taught,

appoint teachers, and arrange the feas to be charged for each class. The provisional committee are at present enrolling the names, and receiving tho annual subscription (23 6d) of townspeople and others willing to join the association, and are, so far, receiving that support which the cause deserves. It is hoped that the classes will soon be in full swing.
