Ou Wednesday lust,the Bqrongji Jhincil paid a visit to Keicys Dish, in connection with a water itippiy. Mr Marchant, C.E., was i!so present. He expressed the. tpinion that the creek could far-1 dsh an ample supply for the town or many years to come, and aftervards at"a meeting, at which the Vlayor, Or?, Cameron, Nicoi, Free-1 nan, Column, Barclay and Jones .vere present, it was decided to ask ffr Marchant to make a survey ami ■eport, and attend a meeting of ■alepayers to explain any scheme hat may be \dopted by the council.
