INSURANCE CANVASSING.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib,— ln reply to “ Bitten’s ” letter of the 9th last., I am fuily convinced, after an interview with the policyholders under the M L.A.’s combined assurance tables, that “ Bitten ” is. as first surmised, a rival agent, who has used the medium of your columns to damage the cause of the office which I represent—instead of doing ao he has given the combined tables of the M.L.A. a splendid free advertisement. For the benefit of your readers, and to prove whether I am correct, I challenge “ Bitten ” to prove whether his is a genuine ease, or find one in the whole Waimate district. Ex Canvasser’s letter I pass over, and have no scruples in stating that it has emanated from the same source as “ Bitten.”—l am, etc., Jambs Wallace. Waimate, July 12th, 1901.
