Forestry.

The quarterly meeting of Court Foresters’ Pride, No. 6073, was held on Monday evening, C.K. Bro. S. Tolfer in the chair. There was a good attendance of members. Since last meeting three members were reported on the sick funds and one declared off. Two candidates were initiated into the Order. Correspondence was received from the Tuuaru District Secretary, staling that the half yearly meeting would be held at Waimato on Friday, July 12th. From tho Wainaate Brass Band, asking for the use of the hall for a practice room. The request was granted on certain terms. Routine business was transacted and the Lodge closed after passing accounts for £39 2s lOd. Receipts, £73 0s 9d. The Social Committee afterwards met to make further arrangements for the social.
