"Commonwealth Shadows.”
Under the heading of “ Commonwealth Shadows” the Salvation Army has published a well printed booklet showing (as the title indicates) sidelights of Australian life* a copy of which jihe local corps has sent us. The brochure is copiously illustrated with photogravures and sketches of various phases of immorality, and the part played by the Army in the redemption of the fallen, and pictures of the various Homes throughout Australasia are given, with much explanatory letterpress. All those who are in sympathy .faith the Army’s selfdenying and noble work will peruse this booklet with much interest.
