Waimate School Committee.
The monthly meeting of the above was held on Tuesday evening; present —Messrs Hamilton (chair), Scott, Smith, Jackson, Nicol, Coiville, Mathias, Cameron and Miller. The headmaster, in his . i*Bport, complained that there was jxQ water either at his house or at thVschobl. - It was . decided to apply to the Education JBoard for a concrete tank at the toaster's residence, and in the meantime a committee consisting of, the chairman and secretary 'Was appointed to procure water iot the school in some way or other, in case "the supply actually failed. 3 The meetings 5 of' committee were fixed for the first Wednesday in e*ach month. The janitor asked for repairs to his residence,' stating that "had been done to it during the last twenty'two years.' , ," It was. decided to refer the matter ito th"e„ Board, .
