The Daily Telegraph, conrnenting.onMr Beddon’s !ot3g term of >ffice, says the reason for this utissual Ministerial stability in main 1_ bo be found'in Mr Seddon’s grea ■nergy as an organiser and his adaptability. ■He has conducted a remarkably vigorous and popular policy, which has been gradually expanded to meet all sorts of requirements that were worth satisfying, until his Ministry has acheived the rare feat of becoming popular with all classes, or at least with all, those whose votes count to 'any considerable extent. At the same time, it has to be admitted that New Zealand has prospered greatly in material things, under this rule, and enjoys much advanced legislation, which is also beneficial bo other .countries, in that it represents’valuable experiments.
