Obituary.

One of Waimate's o'dess settlers peacefully away last evening in the person of Mr W. F. Finn. a f fcer an illness of two years. In tha early days of the settlement, over 30 years ago, he was in the employ of Messrs Buckley and McLean, Waikakabi, and later, in tho oilicft of Mr James Mruce's sawmills. For soma years past he has been tiaabie, on account of illheath, to follow his occupation. Pie leaves a widow and grown-up family of three sons and three daughters to mourn their loss.
