Cultivator Trial.
A trial of the Duncan Cultivator was held yesterday at Mr Side's farm. Morven, when there was a large attendance of farmers and others, amongst whom wo noticed Messrs John Duncan (of tire'firm ot P. and 1). Duncan), Wallace, and Gale (represmiting Fanners’ Co-op., Timaru). Tile cultivator was put into a paddock of ploughed stubble along with a Niciiolson Ouliivator, and the work there done proved the Duncan Cult! vator to be, beyond doubt, the strongest machine. 'rimy worked together in a stubble paddock, unploughed, in which the Duncan again did very good work, to the satisfaction of all present, the Nicholson unfortunately breaking her beam. At a meeting held after tire trial Mr Beer, chairman of the Association, thanked the two companies for sending the cultivators to lire trial. It was just what fanners required. The verdict of all present was that tbe Duncan Cultivator was the best in New Zealand. and could not be beaten. The local agents for the P. and D. Duncan Cultivator (Priest ami Holdgate) received several orders for Duncan implements.
